Hello

As a specialist in early childhood education for decades, I have come to understand the questions that most effect children and families. As the single mother to three Multicultural sons, I know that children do see color. Even more, they have questions about it. As a mother, and an early educator, I’ve learned over the years, the most effective, empowering way to answer. Yet, as an educator, coach, and trainer, I’ve had difficulty finding children’s books that offer a truly honest, productive approach.  This inspired me to begin my journey into writing children’s books that reflect the curious minds of children and addresses some of those difficult discussions about racial identity, social equality, personal insecurities, and privilege.
